Memorial Service

Our annual memorial service is a chance for you to gather together in solidarity with other families in the community and together remember your much-loved babies.

Memorial Service

We know that Christmas can be an emotional and difficult time after your baby dies. We dreamt of having someone else to share this special day with and we long for them to be in our lives.  Someone is missing and we want to acknowledge and remember them.

We hold an Annual Service of Remembrance every year on the first Sunday of December to give families the opportunity to come together. This is held in Craiglockhart Parish Church and many families attend this every year.  It is an opportunity to take time out of our busy lives and remember together, to sit with others who understand, reflect, light a candle and listen to beautiful music. Families are invited to meet in the church hall afterwards to chat over a cuppa and some home baking. Christmas cards are also available to buy after the service and many families buy a bauble to place on the tree.

Friends and family are very welcome but please note that this is a service for adults and children over 16 only.  Babies’ names are read out at this time and if you are unable to attend and wish your little one’s name to be read out then please email us.
